Your students and alumni have stories that can help prospective students picture their own next step. But interviewing them and turning those conversations into useful content takes time that busy marketing and admissions teams often do not have.
I manage the interviews and writing, creating human stories and case studies for course pages, campaigns and lead nurture.
Recent university work includes student and alumni interviews, executive education case studies and lead-nurture content for the University of Sydney Business School.
Tell me about the story
Have a student, alumni or executive education story that needs writing? You do not need a finished brief. Tell me what you are working on and I’ll reply personally within one business day.
No mailing list or CRM. Your details will only be used to respond to your enquiry. Read my Privacy Policy.
The stories are there. Finding time to tell them is harder.
A useful story takes more than a few quotes. Someone needs to find the right angle, ask thoughtful questions, write the piece and take it through review. That work can easily slip down the list, even when you know the stories would be valuable.
Here’s how we work together
- Tell me what you need. We agree on who to feature and what the story should help a prospective student understand.
- I interview and write. I prepare the questions, speak with the student or alumnus and draft an article or case study that keeps their voice intact.
- You review before publication. The interviewee and your team review the piece before it is published or used in your marketing.
University work you can read
For the University of Sydney Business School, I interview MBA students and alumni and write profiles for its marketing and lead-nurture activity. The University publishes these stories under its editorial identity, so they do not carry my byline. Read Chloe do Rosario’s story, Liz Kim’s story and Tyrone Peters’s story, or see how I approached the work.
